My Story

My name is Kelly Kaczmarek and I am a Kindergarten Readiness teacher in Macomb County, Michigan.  I enjoy nature, spending time with my family and friends, reading, and cooking. I began my journey teaching during the winter of 2020. Yes, directly in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. I first started teaching Kindergarten, but have spent the last four years teaching my district's Kindergarten Readiness program. I really was never one of those people that had the life-long dream of being a teacher, but once I made the choice to pursue teaching I knew it was the job I was destined to have. I love the creativity and care that goes into teaching and I have yet to experience a feeling more satisfying than watching a group of children learn and grow before my eyes.
